Phase 1

Recording and completion of production for 2 albums: $14,000 USD

Completion of recording: Pro-bono (estimated value = $15k)
Any instrumentation / additional musicians: $1k per project = 2k
Completion of music and vocal production: $3k per project = 6k
Mixing and mastering: $3k per project = 6k

Digital distribution and printing of physical copies: $1,000 USD

Digital distribution: $100 per project = $200
Duplication, short run CD order: $400 x 2 = $800

Album Artwork: $3,000 USD

Creation of album art: $500 x 2 = $1k

Promo Photo shoots: $400 x 2 = $800

Graphic design pf artwork with cohesive aesthetic for merch and promotional material: $600 x 2 = $1.2k

Merch: $3,000 USD

Short-run order of Fully Loaded Altar creation ($30 each x 100 pieces): $3k

Phase 2

Promotion: $22.4,000 USD

Main social media manager, daily tasks and general updating: $1200 / month x 12 months = $14.4k
Promo publicist (connected) — with singles we will push along with development of promo strategy: 2k x 2 = $4k
General budget for pushing singles (social media targeted ads and other ways of getting eyes on the key releases): $2k x 2 albums = $4k

Music Video Production: 27,000 USD

Video shoot expenses: hiring cinematographers, lighting designers, grips, actors, dancers, extras: $2k x 3 videos per project x 2 projects = $12k
Food expenses: $200 per day shoot x 6 shoots per project x 2 = $2.4k
Travel expenses for crew: 6 x $20 per day x 3 x 2 = $720k
Animation: $2k per video x 3 videos x 2 projects = $12k

Personnel: $44.8,000 USD

Lead project coordinator, includes all manner of communication and managing daily tasks, taking care of orders and shipping (over 12 months): $22.4k
Lead artistic director salary, includes all manner of directing the production and artistic creation process (over 12 months): $22.4k

Matching Funds

The above funds will be matching for the MHCRC Grant Award of $76,000 that we received to purchase equipment for our youth education-based project, Voices of Wisdom & Modern Mythology. The music videos and songs created will feed into this program and be made available for students in our community and beyond.
