COMMUNITY EVENTS
We hold substance-free events for all ages to gather in celebration with music, video, dance, culture and storytelling. We offer safe, fun and healthy alternatives for youth to participate in an inclusive environment that encourages community-building.

Our events usually include some element of ceremony (not specific to any religion) with the intention to highlight and acknowledge our universal connection to each other and the elements of life. We believe in the power of heart to heart connection and the vision of a better world for the seven generations ahead.

This all-ages community gathering is a collaboration between Summer Zephier and family, Seven Sovereign Sisters, Essential Fam, Lakota Small Farms Project, The Kin DAO, various tribal programs and schools, and the Lakota people of Rosebud, SD. We helped organize and journeyed to South Dakota for a week long event involving food + medicine sovereignty, amplifying indigenous wisdom + culture, alternative economics and alternative building practices, the land back movement, regenerative agriculture, land/water restoration, intergenerational storytelling, art + music, youth media education, and restoring the sacred hoop of life. It’s beautiful to see the alignments of folks working towards a better world, remembering how to be caretakers of Mother Earth and planting seeds for the next 7 generations.
